The roll out of Inspire in the South East is being managed by the Policy Advisory Group of MLA South East which is also the Inspire Steering Group. The Group represents libraries from Public, Higher Education, Further Education, Health and the Special Library sectors. Background information is available on the MLA South East website.
Josephine Burt, OU Regional Strategy Manager has said, “Many groups of libraries in the South East such as SASLIC, MKLCLN and KILN, have collaborated for many years to share information. INSPIRE provides an opportunity to build on that work and also to develop networks in other areas. We encourage any library interested in the INSPIRE aims to join a local group.”
