Inspire supports and facilitates library co-operation and collaboration to improve services for library users and to extend access to a wide range of libraries for all. Yorkshire has strong traditions in this area especially with the SINTO and SYALL initiatives and the Welcome scheme in Kirklees and Calderdale. Inspire has extended the number of libraries participating in such schemes with strong groups in both Bradford and York and many individual libraries taking part.
